How to Take a Screen Shot and Send it Directly (No Saving)
Save space on your phone and computer by sending screenshots directly via clipboard or share menus without cluttering your folders.
Screenshots can quickly clutter your gallery. Here is how to share them and “forget” them.
1. On iPhone
After taking a screenshot, tap the thumbnail, tap the Share icon, and send it. Once done, tap “Done” and then “Delete Screenshot”. It stays in your clipboard for a moment but won’t fill up your Photos.
2. On Mac
Press Cmd + Ctrl + Shift + 4. The screenshot goes only to your clipboard. Paste it into your message/email (Cmd + V) and no file is ever created on your desktop.
3. On Windows
Use Win + Shift + S. Once you capture the area, it is automatically in your clipboard. Paste it directly into your chat app. You don’t need to save the file.
